UNIQUENESS

Saturday Program:
This program is only for students having problems in academic and non-academic aspect.

Pendampingan siswa salah satunya Kegiatan Sabtu-an bagi siswa yang bermasalah baik dari segi akademik maupun non-akademik.

Journalism Development:
Stella Maris develops journalism and reading culture/habit through classroom bulletin and reading time activity and also for students to collect a synopsis every three months.

Pengembangan jurnalistik dan budaya membaca yang diwujudkan dengan pengelolaan mading untuk masing-masing kelas dan kegiatan Reading Time serta pengumpulan sinopsis setiap tiga bulan.

Personal Target Setting:
Each student should set up his/her target for all subjects at the beginning of school year and it will be evaluated at the end of academic year.

CURRICULUM & TEACHING METHOD

For Grade 9, Stella Maris still applies 2004 Competency-Based Curriculum while for Grade 7-8 is 2006 KTSP. By applying those curriculum, our students are the center and subject of learning process while the teachers are only facilitators and motivator as the focus is on developing individual competence.

Kurikulum untuk Grade 9 adalah Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (KBK) tahun 2004 sedangkan untuk Grade 7 & 8 menggunakan KTSP tahun 2006. Dengan kurikulum tersebut, SMP menempatkan siswa sebagi subyek pembelajaran sedangkan guru menjadi fasilitator dan motivator karena fokus pembelajaran adalah pengembangan kompetensi individu.

Measurement is made through portfolio system that includes cognitive, psycho-motor and affective aspect of each student.

Penilaian dilakukan dengan sistem portofolio yang meliputi aspek kognitif, psikomotorik dan afektif masing-masing siswa.
